Iran Police Chief: Assailants on Chabahar to be severely punished

Referring to the recent terrorist attack in southeast Iran, Iranian Police Chief said on Thursday the enemies should know that such blind moves cannot break the will of the Armed Forces and they will be decisively countered by the governmennt and people of Iran.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Referring to the recent terrorist attack in southeast Iran, Iranian Police Chief said on Thursday the enemies should know that such blind moves cannot break the will of the Armed Forces and they will be decisively countered by the governmennt and people of Iran.

'The enemies are trying to create insecurity in Iran,' said Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari in a military university in Tehran.

On Thursday morning, a pickup truck laden with explosives attacked a police station in Chabahar, Sistan-Balouchestan Province, southeast of Iran. The horrible explosion led to martyrdom of two citizens and injury of more than 40 others.

Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament Heshmatollah Fatalt-pisheh said on the sidelines of the 2nd Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of Afghanistan, China, Iran, Pakistan, Russia and Turkey on Saturday that a delegation of parliamentarians will be soon deployed to Chabahar to investigate the incident.
